When people the Feferi just because she got close to Sollux and messed their ship up. Or hate her because she left Eridan.

Yeah, but the way she TREATED Eridan is a different story. besides, it was Vriska that screwed AraSol up, correct?

but seriously, the way that she was a total bitch to Eridan, i really don’t like her at all. i mean god, there was no comforting or anything like that, it was just ‘no more moirails, and nope not flushed for you deal with it glub’.

Um…I don’t really see all that much wrong with her treatment of Eridan? I mean, up all the way until he blinded Sollux, she was perfectly civil and even willing to be friends with him! The thing is that, once they were in the Medium, the whole “oh gee i better keep eridan under control or he’ll kill a bunch of trolls” thing was kind of unnecessary, since there were only twelve trolls left. And for what it’s worth? Feferi was the only one doing ANYTHING moirailish in that relationship. Sure, Eridan brought lusii to Glbgolyb, but that was just to make Feferi happy because he thought “hey if fef is happy and i givve her things then maybe shell wwanna make out wwith me”. Eridan made it kind of clear that he didn’t want any moirallegiance from the start, and from what we saw, Eridan’s constant emotional theatrics were pretty damn draining to Feferi! She actually had been doing a lot of work keeping Eridan’s theatrics under control! And if she felt the relationship was really draining, stressful, and completely nonbeneficial to her, why shouldn’t she break it off? Also there’s the matter of her offering to still be friends with Eridan after breaking off the moirallegiance, an offer which Eridan rejected wholeheartedly. 

tl;dr: i have a lot of feferi feelings.

the unfortunate truth of homestuck that the fandom keeps forgetting: all the trolls are sort of horrible people, in one way or another. i hate to see people jumping on defending one or another without noting the flaws of the defender because TROLL SOCIETY MORALS=/=OURS ALL OF THEM HAVE AT LEAST JERKISH CONDEMNING QUALITIES THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS WITHIN THE TROLLS (except maybe UU or the pre-scratches we don’t know enough about them yet)

edit: someone pointed out karkat, tavros, and maybe even nepeta avoid being too jerkish and terrible but they are all with their flaws so don’t pass the “PERFECT CHARACTER OMG SHINING PILLAR OF MORALITY AND GOODNESS” test
